Image File Formats - The format of a file defines the way the data is structured and saved to your disk.  Four common formats (.tif, .jpg, .gif, and .png) are discussed.

Processing Digital Images - Seven basic steps that should be followed after uploading digital images to your computer are discussed.

Resolution - The term, resolution, can refer to two different aspects of digital images: the total number of pixels or pixel count, and the number of pixels per unit length or pixel density.  Each of these aspects are discussed.

Slideshow Mini-manual - Personal Use Slideshow Using ProShowGold 3.00 - This manual, written by Carol MacDougall, shows a user step-by-step how to create a slideshow using Photodex's ProShowGold program.  The file is stored in the .pdf format, so the Adobe Reader is needed to view the article.

Punta Gorda Murals - This is a listing of the murals that can be found on various buildings in Punta Gorda.  The file is stored in the .pdf format, so the Adobe Reader is needed to view the article.

The Orton Effect - This article, by J Michael Wilhelm, describes a method of adding a dream-like effect to your images.  Although Adobe's Photoshop CS2 or CS3 is used in the article, any editing program that uses layers should be able to produce the effect.

Mounting and Framing Pictures - This pdf file, written by John Livernois, lists the steps necessary to mount and frame prints.
